Grassfed Beef Steaks
We carry many different types of steak cuts from our pastured cattle, depending on our inventory at any given time.
Filet Mignon (Tenderloin) (Humble Beginnings Family Farm)
This cut is the most tender part of the beef, and highly sought after as the best cut available. It must not be over-cooked! If not cut into steaks, this is the Tenderloin Roast.
Sirloin Steaks (Humble Beginnings Family Farm)
This steak comes from the top hind quarter right beneath and above the Tenderloin. Very lean and flavorful, these are best grilled or broiled to medium rare.
Skirt Steak (Humble Beginnings Family Farm)
Skirt steak is a cut of beef steak from the plate. It is long, flat, and prized for its flavor rather than tenderness.
Cube Steak (Humble Beginnings Family Farm)
Cube steak is round steak, tenderized and flattened by using an electric tenderizer. The name refers to the shape of the indentations left by that process. This is the most common cut of meat used for chicken fried steak.
New York Strip Steak (Humble Beginnings Family Farm)
The strip steak is a cut of beef steak from the short loin. It consists of a muscle that does little work, making the meat particularly tender.
T-Bone Steak (Humble Beginnings Family Farm)
The T-Bone comes from area below the backbone. It is home to some of the most tender and popular cuts of beef. It contains a T-shaped bone.
Flank Steak (Humble Beginnings Family Farm)
This cut comes from the lower chest of the beef. It is great marinated and grilled, and sliced thin for tacos.
Ribeye Steak (Humble Beginnings Family Farm)
The Ribeye is our best seller. Tender and generously marbled, all this steak needs is a little time on the grill and a dash of salt.
